The Olympian Crusade
In the darkness, where evil spirits and monsters lurk, where dreams turn to nightmare, and the sane go mad. There is a dungeon, it lies where there is only silence, the kind of silence that seeps into your bones, and controls your mind and body. The kind the makes your shoulders tense at the thought of someone watching you. The kind that makes you think about your figure, and what sound may break you from this hallow, echoless trance.
From the dungeon, comes a bellowing roar of anger and pain. Thunderous clouds filled with lighting, boom and shake the earth to its core. The constant drip of the dungeon’s stalactites, are the melody that play through the endless darkness.
Trapped in this haunting dungeon, is the Lord of the Sky and Heavens, and Ruler of the Gods, Zeus/Jupiter. Bound by the chains that anchor him to the ground, he struggles to free himself from this wretched place. The one who holds him prisoner from his domain? Hidden in darkness, Kampe: the fearsome chthonic drakina (she-dragon), or the Nymph of Tartarus. She is determined to make the Olympians pay for what they have done to her mother, father, and family. Her plan? To stand back, and watch the Olympians tear each other apart, limb from limb. By taking away Zeus/Jupiter from the equation, the Olympians have no chance of having any stability.
Back on Mount Olympus, the Olympians are in panic. Due to the chaos, Apollo and Artemis decide to both go to each of the Demigod camps. Once they arrive to the camps, Apollo gives out a prophecy:
Hatred of the Jailor comes,
Pain from the past numbs,
Here to take the ultimate prize,
At the children of Olympus' demise,
The world full of chaos and ruin,
Blood of Immortals, spilled through union.
Because of this, both camps, Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter, must set aside their differences, and join forces to take down the evil that lurks in the darkness. Written by Aria, Lucas & Matthew
